Unit 3

Unit 3: Geometry

Students are asked to build and identify right, acute, obtuse, and straight angles using geoboards, straws, and drawings, and they are taught that an angle can be described as two rays that share the same endpoint. Image text and one activity description explicitly state numeric degree facts (e.g., acute < 90 degrees, right = 90 degrees, straight = 180 degrees). Students also practice naming angles with points (e.g., ∠SAM, ∠BEN, ∠CAT).
