Lesson 4: Homes and Culture

Best book! - posted from El Cajon, CA

Edited to add, Come Over to My House by Theo LeSieg is an absolutely adorable book; thank you so much for the suggestion below! It is a vintage book. It was my kids favorite of the whole set, managing to be very entertaining and also to cover all of the different types of homes that we had seen in the more non-fiction style books. So cute!

Supplementary Book - posted from Dhahran, Eastern Province

The Usborne Book of Houses and Homes is a great supplement to this lesson. My child especially liked the pages on "Living in the Jungle", "Living on Water" and "Underground Houses". The page on Building Materials was especially helpful for completing the "Materials for Homes" activity.
