I would have preferred a heads-up in the Parent pages that one of the primary sources dealt with rape. I would have liked to have discussed this issue with my daughter before we stumbled across it in the "If a White Woman Accused a Black Man" document. It was an incredibly powerful document and I'm glad it was part of the curriculum, but a little warning to the parent would have been appropriate here.
