The Queen of Katwe is a great movie to show with this lesson, as it emphasizes a true positive story kids can relate to and shows life in contemporary Uganda. Also this Ted Talk was very useful in our discussion of modern slavery: https://www.ted.com/talks/lisa_kristine_glimpses_of_modern_day_slavery. Please note, though, that there is a section on sexual slavery. Because each section has a heading, you can skip forward over that if you wish.
