This is A.’s final project. She made a model of the Cay.
Phillips Island - posted from Castro Valley, CA
This is Amanda's final project for The Cay. She was very excited to see what the others had posted and wanted to also post hers. Her and her brother actually collaborated together to make this. They even got along for 2 hours with no involvement from mom. Thanks MBtP for such a great curriculum. We are all enjoying it a lot.

My timothy project:) - posted from Jacksonville, FL
This is my for timothy project. I used a small shoe box, brown wrapping paper for the ground, sticks for the tree and also for Philip and Timothy's bodies, and erasers for the heads. I also glued down some twigs to make their "home" on the island and sprinkled dirt on top of the extra glue to make it look more realistic. Hope you enjoyed it!

Monument and Inscription for Timothy - posted from El Dorado Hills, CA
In keeping with my child's affinity for large boxes, wouldn't you know she would find SOME reason to drag one into the house for an afternoon of fun! This assignment was just the reason she needed. She found a use for a left over roll of bright yellow wrapping paper, some construction paper, and lots of glue and tape. Below is a photograph of her end product. She was happy with the result, but was even more pleased to have a reason to play in, around, and inside a box!
