We followed the recipe but I already had a graham cracker crust on hand. We used that and made a simple crumb topping, so it was more of a Dutch apple pie. 450 degrees seemed high to me, so I turned it down to 400. The pie still burned on the bottom. Comparing it to other apple pie recipes, I think it would be better to bake it at 400 for 10-15 mins, then turn it down to 350 for the remainder of the time.
