Stop-motion video app - posted from ,

We used PicPac (a free smartphone app) to record the melting of the 'iceberg' for that activity. We set up the phone on a stand and used sodas to hold the block of wood in place in a large clear container, then set the app to take a photo every 30 seconds for 1.5 hours. When merged into a stop-motion video, it made a very smooth demonstrating how to the changes above ground affect how the plates float on the mantle.
