The Constitution of the United States- posted from Wake Forest, NC
I found a great book at our Public Library that made the Constitution easier for my daughter to understand.
"Our Constitution Rocks" By Juliette Turner.
it has all the parts of the Constitution broken down by Articles as well as the Bill of Rights and Amendments. There are the originator texts and then it is broken down, and we liked the ideas on "How I can make a difference", and even what that part of the constitution has done recently in the " What has it done for me lately" sections. This was helpful to show my daughter that the Constitution isn't just a bunch of old rules and laws. There were also interesting facts on each page . The cool thing is the whole book was written by a 14 year old girl.
