I discovered a series on Amazon Prime that has episodes featuring different holidays and festivals celebrated around the world. Each episode is about an hour long and contains subtitles from different languages spoken.

Celebrations Around the World: The Fabulous Celebrations you Won't Want to Miss by Katy Halford (instead of having my daughter do Mexico/Canada/China on the worksheet, I had her pick her 4 favorites from this book.
What Do You Celebrate?: Holidays and Festivals Around the World by by Whitney Stewart and Christiane Engel - this has some recipes and crafts

After learning about holidays around the world (Holi in Indian is a fascinating one), have your child make up their own holiday. What day(s) is it? What does it celebrate? How is it celebrated? What colors (if any) are used to represent it? What foods are served? How long does it last? What communities celebrate it?
