Moon Phases Craft and Nut Free Food Activity - posted from Mckinney, TX
We have done moon phase units previously for National Moon Day. Due to nut allergies, we used safe sugar cookie option; we baked and used safe icing to "paint" the phases (with extras as Earth and the Harvest Moon). [Pic attached]
Also, I wanted to find something else for the Moon craft in Activity 4. I saw a pretty easy one using paper plates from the Lottie website. [Link attached]

The Our Planet Series on Netflix is an amazing resource for talking about habitats and learning about the various biomes around the world. Various segments on anything from oceans to fresh water and forest to tundra. They are about 45 min to an hour long segments.
Moon journal and Oreo moon phases - posted from Round Hill, VA
Concept 2, unit 1, lesson 3 (sun, moon, stars), day 2: I plan on having my kiddo start a moon journal and use Oreos to show the phases of the moon. Here are some links I plan to use:
