My daughter thought energy was going to be boring. She was wrong. She loved this lesson. She loves to move so as we read about each type of energy, she tried it. Instead of completing the worksheet on how would you demonstrate it, she made a video demonstrating each type of energy. My favorite was when she put her stuffed snake on her head for potential energy and then had it fall for kinetic energy.

Mark Rober makes some great science videos, we were watching one this past weekend about making the best egg drop contraption. He has a great explanation and visual with building blocks to show potential vs. kinetic energy. The video is fun & entertaining, and helps give a visual to this concept
