The Answer Key for Activity 1 was printed incorrectly before June 2017. Here are the correct answers.

Answer Key

1) Profits are $0.20 / bushel.

2) Profits are now $0.16 / bushel.

3) Profits are now $0.14 / bushel.

4) Profits are $0.10 / bushel. This represents half of the original profit.

5) Farmers want to protect their profits.

6) Railroad owners want to maximize their own profits.
