We used self-adhesive foam shapes cut from a pattern (the picture on the worksheet was pattern template). They get stuck directly onto the sheet and take up minimal space. Can just do the 4 like this if you want to color the rest as directed in the manual instructions. Or make extra cut out shapes to use instead. Our eyes were black foam dots instead of googly eyes.
