Day 2 Activity 3 felt rather yucky to me... We're working on body positivity and the belief that every (human) body is a good body — regardless of shape, size, color, etc. I didn't feel this activity reinforced what were trying so hard to teach our kids.
So instead we talked about how the Greedy Zebra made a mistake and how everyone, no matter how hard they try, will make a mistake sometime. We talked about how we feel when we make mistakes and how we appreciate when we are able to have a second chance after making a mistake. So we gave zebra a second chance. We took all our leftover craft supplies and gave zebra a more colorful coat.

This was a great activity to use up all the art supplies that we hadn't used during the year: glitter, jingle bells, jewels, pipe cleaners, pompoms, etc. The older and younger kids got involved too.
