You will explore how you can change matter in your environment using heat, water, and air and find out about characteristics of metals, metalloids, and non-metals both in individual elements and when they are combined with one another. For the final project, you will explore mystery elements and try to figure out what each one is. This unit requires materials found in the Age 10-12 Semester 2 Science Kit.
