Our curriculum integrates R is for Rhyme into creative activities that inspire interactive learning. Here are a few examples:

• Creative Writing Assignments: Inspired by the different poetry styles introduced in the book, students craft their own poems. These assignments focus on the poetic forms, such as acrostics, haikus, and free verse.
• Poetry Journal: Students maintain a poetry journal throughout the unit. They write daily reflections on the poems read, record their poetic creations, and jot down any inspiratory thoughts or phrases.
